One of the things that surprised us about "the world was asleep..." was that even though more than half of the songs were played on college radio, "Distance" was not one of them so we thought we'd help radio out and shorten the song by about a minute.
lyrics
You walked in my life unexpectedly
But knowing that you would be leaving me
I cannot replace how I used to be
Tonight
If only you left on another night
But now that you’re gone I have all this time
You’re all that I want in this desperate life
Tonight
Everything that it’s supposed to be
Would drive me crazy
But if it’s meant to be despite this distance we
Can make it right for you and me
Will we become just another trend
Is this a dream coming to its end
Help me believe while I wait again
Tonight
Everything that it’s supposed to be
It drives me crazy
But if it’s meant to be despite this distance we
Can make it right for you and me
