Terrance wrote and recorded this one for his solo project, The Monterey Fire. We all felt like it was a particularly strong song so we decided to record it for this EP. Christian put a little different spin on the vocals, but you can download an alternate version with Terrance singing lead vocals here.
lyrics
You wear your scars so well
I can't see through the wall that you put
Up around you that surrounds you
From the outside where it hurts
But first you have to believe me
When I say that things aren't as bad as they seem
But first you have to believe me
When I say that things aren't as bad as they seem
You wear your scars so well
I can't feel the warmth of your skin
The love inside you that divides you
From the people who need you the most
But first you have to believe me
When I say that things aren't as bad as they seem
But first you have to believe me
When I say that things aren't as bad as they seem
